ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Tiruchirappalli, to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.686 of 2013 within the stipulated time.

2. It is the case of the revision petitioner that he filed HMOP No.686 of 2013 before the Court below for divorce, in the year 2013 itself. Though counter has been filed in the year 2015, the same has not been disposed of till date. Hence, the revision petitioner is before this Court seeking a direction for early disposal.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner submitted that as per the Judicial Notification No.C-5 CAS/2007 Tamil Nadu Case Flow Management in Subordinate Courts/Rules 2007, the matrimonial cases should be disposed of within a period of one year from the date of filing the petition. However, the said petition is pending for more than five years. Hence, he prayed for a direction.

4. Considering the fact that the divorce petition has been filed in the year 2013 and also in view of Judicial Notification No.C-5 CAS/2007 Tamil Nadu Case Flow Management in Subordinate Courts/Rules 2007, this Court directs the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Tiruchirappalli, to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.686 of 2013 , on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
