The present Writ Petition is filed praying for a Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 06.09.2023, 28.11.2023 and 24.01.2024 and issue patta in the name of Thirukalapatti Mohaideen Andavar Jumma Pallivasal for the lands in Survey Nos.27/8B, 27/8C, 27/9, 24/1, 24/15 and 68/11 situated at Thirukalapatti Village, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2. At the outset, it is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 3 to 6 that the representation of the petitioner would be considered and orders would be passed thereon by the sixth respondent, in accordance with law. The same is acceded to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the same and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the sixth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2024, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties / stake holders. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.
