ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Mandamus to direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to carry out his business by running the unit namely "Srivaari Bricks Industries" at S.No. 284/1, Velloor Village, Musiri Taluk, Trichirapalli District. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had started a bricks unit, after obtaining all the requisite permissions, under the name and style of "Srivaari Bricks Industries". However, the second respondent threatened the petitioner to close his unit without any valid grounds and frequently, visited the premises. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation to the first respondent on 25.08.2023 seeking to direct the second respondent to permit him to run the unit. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that based on the petitioner's representation, the first respondent made an enquiry with the second respondent regarding the threat allegedly made by them and that an appropriate order would be passed in accordance with law. 4.Considering the submissions made by both sides, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.08.2023 and to conduct an enquiry with the second respondent after due notice to the petitioner and to pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the meantime, the second respondent shall not disturb the business of the petitioner in any manner.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
