O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to regularise the service of the petitioner as a Printer from the date of his initial appointment and consequently, direct the respondents to pay all the attendant and monetary benefits.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as daily worker in the Conservation Section in Saraswathi Mahal Library, on 20.04.2001. Though he has completed 10 years of service, his service was not regularised. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondents, on 17.01.2016, requesting them to regularise his service. However, till date no order was passed. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the service of the co-workers, who worked on daily wage basis in the second respondent Institution, was regularised. Hence, this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.01.2016, within the specified period as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 17.01.2016 and pass appropriate orders, as per G.O.(Ms.).No.22, dated 28.02.2006, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
