ORDER

The present Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 5 to cancel the patta in No.1588 issued in the name of the sixth respondent for the landed property situated in Madurai District, Madurai East Taluk, Melamadai II bit Village, S.F.No.5/11, now sub divided as S.F.5/11A1 and grant patta to the petitioner for the property based on petitioner's representation, dated 27.05.2024. 2/5

2. It is informed by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the official respondents that the hearing with reference to the cancellation of patta is posted on 03.10.2024. It is made clear that the enquiry shall be concluded on the said date irrespective of the presence of the parties on the basis of the available records, in case the parties do not appear before them and orders will be passed within a period of four weeks therefrom.

3. The writ petition stands allowed, accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
