ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/ Accused apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences under Sections 109, 406, 417, 420 and 506(i) of IPC in Crime No.198 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant was approached by the first accused, who is the son of this petitioner and informed that one Vijayalakshmi / A2 has got Village Assistant job by political influence and he promised the defacto complainant to arrange Village Assistant job. He received totally Rs.9,50,000/- through the second accused bank account, later failed to arrange any government job. Hence the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent, he has been falsely implicated in this case and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.
4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that because of the assurance of the petitioner, the defacto complainant has paid money to the second accused. The application of the first accused was dismissed by this Court.
5. Reading of the complaint shows that this petitioner has also insisted upon the defacto complainant along with the first accused to pay money for securing job. The truth would come out only by subjecting this petitioner also to custodial 2/3
interrogation. I find no reason to entertain this petition.
