2. When the matters are taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent would submit that during the pendency of these writ petitions, the District Educational Officer has rejected the approval of the petitioners' appointment, on 20.12.2016.

3. In view of the above, these Writ Petitions are dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to work out the remedy, in the manner known to law. No costs.
