ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner / Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 07.09.2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aaa) of TN Prohibition 1/3

Act, 4(1)(A), 4(1-A)(ii), 14(A) of TN Prohibition Amendment Act, 2024 and Section 318 (4), 336(3), 336(4), 350 of BNS, 2023 in crime No.398 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. Considering the nature of allegations that that the recovery is a huge haul of 1107 bottles of liquor and considering the material so far gathered against the petitioner that he spoke to the other prime accused on the day of occurrence several times and that the consignment was destined to the address of the petitioner, for the present I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
