This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to release the vehicle belonging to the petitioner which was seized on 14.03.2021.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the second respondent submitted that the vehicle has been confiscated and that the confiscation order will be passed by the District Revenue Officer. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the criminal case ended in conviction.
