O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the third respondent to approve forthwith the appointment of 14 teaching 1/3
staffs in the petitioner's College and disburse the grant-in-aid towards their salary and allowances with effect from the respective dates of their appointment.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that while entertaining the writ petition, this Court has granted interim direction in W.M.P.(MD).No.1489 of 2016, dated 28.01.2016, to grant temporary approval. In compliance of the said order, temporary approval was granted. However, permanent approval was not granted. Hence, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the third respondent to conclude the proposal dated 05.05.2015, submitted by the petitioner College, within a specified time.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
4. In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to conclude the proposal dated 05.05.2015, submitted by the petitioner College, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
