ORDER
The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 16.07.2025.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.T.Thirumurugan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the respondents 4 and 5, notice to them is dispensed with. By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The petitioner filed an appeal before the second respondent seeking cancellation of Patta Nos.5269 and 5270, issued in the names of the respondents 4 and 5, in respect of the properties situated in Survey Nos. 351/4A2B and 351/4A2C at Navinipatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District. The said appeal has not been considered by the second respondent. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court. 2/4
4. The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3, would submit that the appeal submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 16.07.2025 and dispose of the same on its own merits, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the respondents 4 and 5.
