ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 528 of BNSS., seeking orders, to direct the respondent to file a final report in connection with the Crime No.516 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.516 of 2023 under Section 174(3) Cr.P.C and after initial investigation, the case was altered to Section 304(2) IPC and the investigation is pending. He would further submit that they have examined 5 witnesses and seeks one month time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.516 of 2023 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
