ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection for surveying the property comprised in S.Nos. 11/1 and 11/2A2 situated at Mukkudi Village, Thiruppuvanm Taluk, Sivagangai District on the basis of the representation dated 15.08.2024.
2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the writ petitioner alleging some occurrence against the third respondent, CSR No.1071 of 2024 came to be registered and after enquiry, the same was ordered to be closed and that subsequently the writ petitioner has given the present representation seeking police protection.
4. Even according the writ petitioner, the third respondent is his vendor and he is interfering with the survey activities and that is why the 2/4
writ petitioner was constrained to seek police protection.
5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the second respondent has not received any further representation from the writ petitioner with regard to police protection.
6. Considering the above, the writ petitioner is directed to give a representation to the second respondent with regard to police protection and on receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the writ petitioner as well as to the private respondent and conduct enquiry and take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.
7. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
