2.The petitioner's son is undergoing life imprisonment in Central Prison, Palayamkottai. The petitioner seeks his premature release. The petitioner has given a representation dated 04.03.2024 in that regard. 3.The first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass an appropriate order on merits and in accordance 2/4

with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the matter.
