O R D E R

The petitioner approached this Court for a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to issue a notification to constitute the Principal District Court as Tribunal under Section 38 of the Tamil Nadu Private Colleges (Regulation) Act, 1976.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has placed before me G.O. (Ms) No.171, Higher Education (D2) Department, dated 24.11.2020 by which it has been notified that the authorities specified in such communication would function as the tribunal. The said notification has been issued by exercising power under Section 38(1) of the Tamil Nadu Private Colleges (Regulation) Act, 1976. Since the notification has been issued, learned counsel submits that the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.
