Tirunelveli seeking divorce on the ground of cruelty and the same was dismissed on 17.11.2016. Aggrieved against the said order of dismissal, the appellant / husband has filed the present Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.
2. It is represented that pending appeal, the respondent / wife has instituted H.M.O.P.No.183 of 2020 for divorce. In that application, an ex-parte decree of divorce was ordered on 18.03.2021.
3. In view of the order passed in the subsequent H.M.O.P.No. 183 of 2020 filed by the respondent / wife, nothing survives in this appeal. Hence, this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is closed. No costs.
