ORDER
This Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 4 and the learned Government 2/6
Advocate (Crl.Side) for the fifth respondent and after dispensing with the notice on the private respondents 6 to 9, as no adverse orders are proposed to be passed against them.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the second respondent to conduct an enquiry on the show cause notice vide Na.Ka.No.367 of 2023 dated 27.07.2023, issued by the sixth respondent.
3. It is noticed that already a show cause notice has been issued by the Inspector of HR & CE Department on 27.07.2023 bearing reference in Na.Ka.No. 367/2023, whereby based on the petitioner's representation, the said show cause notice has been issued to the private respondents to show cause as to why the subject temple, namely, Thennattu Nangai Amman Temple, located in Radhapuram Village, Tirunelveli District, should not be taken under the control of HR & CE Department.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 4 submits that an enquiry is still pending as on date and submits that proceedings 3/6
will be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is further submitted that the petitioner's representation will also be considered.
5. Meanwhile, it is the case of the petitioner that 'Kodai Festival' is to be held in the said temple between 08.09.2025 and 10.09.2025.

It is submitted that since there is a dispute between the petitioner and the persons in control of the temple, namely, private respondents herein, the members from all the communities will not allowed and that members from all the communities be allowed to participate in the 'Kodai Festival' which is to be held between 08.09.2025 and 10.09.2025 after conducting Peace Committee Meeting.
7. Request of the petitioner appears to be reasonable. Therefore, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to convene a Peace Committee Meeting between the petitioner and the members from all the communities, who are in control of the Thennattu Nangai Amman Temple, located in Radhapuram Village, 4/6
Tirunelveli District. The Peace Committee Meeting shall be held positively on 01.09.2025 and thereafter, concluded preferably by 04.09.2025.
