Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to cancel the UDR patta pertaining to the petitioner's property in Survey No.301/3 situated at Karsilpatti Group, Singampuneri Taluk, Trichy District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2018 and consequently, incorporate the petitioner's name.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to cancel the UDR patta pertaining to the petitioner property in Survey No.301/3 situated at Karsilpatti Group, Singampunari Taluk, Trichy District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2018 and consequently, incorporate the petitioner's name.
2.According to the petitioner, she has purchased the property in Survey No.301/3, to an extent of 0.28.5 hectares and Survey No.301/5 to an extent of 0.79.0 hectares situated at Kariselpatti Group, Singampuneri Taluk. From the date of purchase, she has not created any encumbrance or alienated the property in question in favour of any parties. While so, she came to know that insofar as the property in Survey No.301/3 is concerned, three persons, namely, Durairasu, Manickavasagam and Palanichamy were erroneously included during UDR survey. Therefore, the petitioner has sent a detailed representation dated 01.07.2018 to the respondents to remove the aforesaid three persons in the UDR Patta. In response to the same, an enquiry was conducted by the respondents and the petitioner has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD) No.25167 of 2018 also produced all records, proving her title. Having given assurance to the petitioner to remove those names in UDR Patta, the respondents have not taken any steps in this regard. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking aforesaid prayer. 3.In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to conclude the enquiry, as the petitioner has already appeared for the enquiry and submitted various documents not once but twice and the last representation was made on 03.07.2020, wherein the petitioner has enclosed as many as six documents. Since the enquiry is pending before the second respondent, a decision shall be taken by the second respondent, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner and all the necessary parties, within a period of 120 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
