ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction upon the respondents to regularize the petitioner's services from the date on which he completed 480 days of service of difference in wages and all other consequential attendant benefits as per law and by implementing the order of the Inspector of Labour, Karur in Na.Ka.No.392/2008, dated 15.02.2010 passed under Section 5 read with Section 6(4) of Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishments (Conferment of Permanent Status to Workmen) Act, 1981.

2. When the matter is taken up for consideration today, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the respondents have already issued proceedings bearing Letter No.121/Adm.I/A.2/F.CL.Court case/2025, dated 04.03.2025, whereby the petitioner was granted permanent status with effect from 15.02.2010 in terms of the order passed by the Inspector of Labour, Karur in Na.Ka.No.392/2008, dated 15.02.2010.

3. In the light of the above, this Court is convinced that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous. However, in case if the petitioner is still aggrieved by the proceedings dated 04.03.2025, he is at liberty to take appropriate steps.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed by recording the proceedings in Letter No.121/Adm.I/A.2/F.CL.Court case/2025, dated 04.03.2025. There shall be no order as to costs. 05.03.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes ABR
