ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.11.2011 and grant benefits as contemplated under Section 77(4) of Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that he was implicated in a criminal case and he was suspended from service. Thereafter, he was acquitted by the Criminal Court, by the time, he attained superannuation. However, the terminal benefits have not been disbursed to him. Hence, he has sent a representation on 18.11.2011, requesting the disbursement 2/4
of gratuity and other terminal benefits. The first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.11.2011 and pass orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of copy of receipt of this order.
3. With the above said observations, the Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
