ORDER

The petitioner with a grievance as against the investigation agency, who are conducting investigation in Cr.No.101 of 2025 on the file of the second respondent, has filed this petition seeking a direction to conduct further investigation in the said case.

2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents submits that investigation is pending and there is no question of further investigation. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he has suffered grievous injuries and his bone has been fractured and when there was an attempt to commit murder, the respondent Police has registered the case only for simple offences and they have also not conducted the investigation in a proper manner.

4.By reply, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submits that there is no averment found place in FIR for 2/5

attempting to commit murder and therefore, they have registered the case for the offence under Sections 296(b), 118(1), 351(3) BNS, depending upon the wound certificate and Doctor certificate.

5.This Court has considered the submissions made on either side and perused the available records. 6.The petitioner claims that he has suffered grievous injuries and there is a fracture in his bone when he offended the attack with aruval. The respondent Police is expected to conduct investigation in a fair manner. The respondent Police shall ascertain the wound certificate and the nature of the injuries and possibilities of the injuries and alter the offences, if it is required. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ponnamaravathy Sub Division, Pudukkottai District is directed to monitor the investigation of the case in Cr.No.101 of 2025. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
