ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 448, 427 and 506 (ii) of IPC, in Crime No.56 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to business motive, on 18.08.2023, at about 12.00 p.m., when the defacto complainant was at his E-Sevai Centre, the 1/3

accused went inside the shop and abused him in filthy language and hit him using wooden log and knife and one of the computers damaged, also threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner is having five previous cases. Reading of the list shows that all the cases have been registered either for assault or criminal intimidation. The accused persons caused damage to the computer worth about Rs.25,000/-.

5. Considering the nature of offence and also considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner and there is no change of circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to this petitioner.
