ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and his shop situated at Periyakulam, Theni District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.12.2018.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the petitioner sent a representation to the second respondent on 06.12.2018. After a lapse of one year, the petitioner sought for police protection.

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.22665 of 2018 3.In view of the above, after a lapse of one year, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered. Hence, this petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh complaint before the second respondent.
