The petitioner had assailed an order dated 30.08.2016. By such order, the fifth respondent had refused to grant a licence to the petitioner to undertake prawn farming.

2. On instructions, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the activity carried on by the petitioner previously is no longer permitted. Consequently, she submits that nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3. By recording the same, W.P. (MD) No.17782 of 2016 is dismissed as infructuous without any order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
