O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to award adequate Police protection for the life and liberty of the petitioner on the strength of his representation, dated 17.09.2022.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner made a representation before the first respondent that he purchased a property in survey No.934/5F3 at Kajamalai, Trichy, from one Mohamed Sigapudeen. One Dhanushkodi requested the petitioner to allow him to run a shop in a rental basis, but the same was refused by the petitioner. Due to wreck vengeance, the said Dhanushkodi came along with seven unknown persons tried to enter into the property and scolded the petitioner using filthy language and also threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, a representation was made by the petitioner before the respondent Police and the same is pending and so far no order was passed by the respondent Police. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that, on the representation given by the petitioner, the petition enquiry was conducted and the same was closed after investigation.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, no further order is required to be passed in this petition.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
