Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 & 2 to forthwith execute the "Discharge Receipt" by cancelling the mortgage deed dated 15.02.1988 registered as Document No.1078/1988 on the file of the 4th respondent in respect of the property bearing house No.M1-103, R.M. Colony Part-1, Dindigul in T.S.No.721/2, Part of Dindigul Town, Ward No.1, Block-13 and further directing the respondents 1 &2 to pay a sum of Rs. 2 lakhs as damages for the delay of 21 years caused in execution of the document.
