ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the first respondent to transfer the complaint given by the writ petitioner on 02.05.2024 based on the representation dated 17.08.2024 on the file of the second respondent to any other officer not below the rank of the Deputy Commissioner of Police to investigate the matter.

2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the writ petitioner has given a complaint alleging that somebody has impersonated him and obtained passport and even according to the writ petitioner, his brother has impersonated him. He would further submit that the writ petitioner has sent representation dated 17.08.2024 to the first respondent and has not sent representation to the second respondent at that time.

4. Recording the same, the writ petitioner is directed to give a representation to the second respondent and on receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and take a decision within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of the representation.

5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
