PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying direct the Learned I Additional District Judge and Special Court for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, Trichy to accept the surrender of the Petitioners and consider their bail application and grant bail on the same date of surrender itself in connection with the case in Crime No.38 of 2022 registered on 20.09.2022 on the file of the second Respondent police.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned I Additional District Judge and Special Court for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, Trichy to accept the surrender of the Petitioners and consider their bail application and grant bail on the same date of surrender itself in connection with the case in Crime No.38 of 2022 registered on 20.09.2022 for the offences under Sections 294(b) of IPC and Sections 3(1)(r),3(1)(s) of SC/ST(POA) Act, 1989 r/w.Section 4 of TNPHW Act on the file of the second Respondent police
2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side)would submit that no previous case is pending against the Petitioners and no one sustained injuries in the said occurrence.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned Counsel for the Petitioners, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The Petitioners are directed to surrender before the learned I Additional District Judge and Special Court for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, Trichy within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order or 15 days from the date of uploading the order copy in the website of this Court . The Special Judge shall consider the bail application of the Petitioners and dispose of the same as per law.
