PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to re-open the research centre for Malayalam in the fifth respondent College and consequently to direct the respondents to permit the petitioners to proceed their thesis for Malayalam until the period of 16.07.2020.

ORDER

The petitioners have filed the present Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to re-open the research centre for Malayalam in the fifth respondent College and consequently to direct the respondents to permit the petitioners to proceed their thesis for Malayalam until the period of 16.07.2020. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the relief sought for in the Writ Petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for adjudication in this matter.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
