ORDER

The writ petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct the survey of the land comprised in S.No.464/8 situated at Thinnannur Post, Ilupaiyur village, Musiri Circle, Thiruchirapalli District, and demarcate the boundaries of the land, by considering the petitioner's online application submitted vide Ref. No. 2024/0123/15/003668 dated 21.10.2024.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.Niranjan S.Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader, for the respondents 1 to 3. Since no adverse order is going to be passed as against the fourth respondent, notice to him is dispensed with. By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, he purchased the subject property under a registered sale deed dated 14.08.2024, and the patta for the same stands in the name of the petitioner under Patta No.8461. He submitted an application on 21.10.2024 in Application No.2024/0123/15/003668, 2/5

seeking a survey of the subject property, but the same has not been considered. Hence, he has approached this Court.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for respondents 1 to 3, would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 21.10.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, fourth respondent, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
