This petition has been filed seeking direction to expedite the trial in C.C.No.216 of 2018 pending on the file the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur.

2. The Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the case is at the stage of examination of witnesses.

3. Under such circumstances , there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, to dispose the case pending in C.C.No.216 of 2018 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings.
