O R D E R

The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner in appeal letter No. 3158475 dated 01.04.2025 seeking UDR correction in respect of the property situate in S.Nos. 30/3, 30/7, 32/2, 33/2 and 34/1 in Aalamarathupatti village, Ranganathapuram, Aathur Taluk, Dindigul District.

2.Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, the subject property was originally owned by the petitioner's grandfather/Fransis, S/o.Yakopu under patta 2/5

No.33. After his death, the UDR records got mutated in favour of 54 persons, who are not the legal representatives of the said Fransis. Therefore, the petitioner and four of his family members submitted a representation before the second respondent on 01.04.2025 seeking correction in the UDR records, but the same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with the law. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.04.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, legal representatives of the abovementioned Fransis and the persons in whose names the UDR records got mutated.
