PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime no.349 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.1 herein, who was arrested on 18.08.2023 for the alleged offence under Sections 294(b), 307, 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.349 of 2023, on 1/3

the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity, the petitioner abused the defacto complainant and his wife in filthy language, attempted to assault with aruval and threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that proposal pending before the Sub Collector for invoking Act 14, since he is involved in several previous cases. According to him, Crime No.308 of 2023 was registered one month prior to the present occurrence. The above said complaint was given by the wife of defacto complainant. This is the second occurrence, occurred in the very same place. 5.

Considering the above said fact and also since Act 14 is going to be invoked, the petitioner should wait for reasonable time.
