Ni2/11052/2013-7 dated 13.12.2013 and Se.Mu.Order No. N2/11052/20135 dated 13.12.2013 passed by the 2nd respondent against the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th petitioners respectively and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the respondents to retain the Petitioners in the post of Selection Grade Assistant Seed Officer. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, seeking to quash the impugned order No.Se.Mu.Order No.Ni2/11052/2013-2, dated 13.12.2013 passed by the second respondent and further to direct the respondents to retain the petitioners in the post of Selection Grade Assistant Seed Officer.

W.P(MD) No.18502 of 2016 2.The case of the petitioners is that they have already been granted Selection Grade in the Post of Assistant Seed Officer and they are enjoying it for so many years. Now, the respondents suddenly stopped the said increment without giving any reason. 3.On persuing the impugned order, it is seen that the said order is a non-speaking order. The impugned order is referring to certain earlier proceedings.
4.Therefore, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the authorities to issue notice to the petitioners, grant opportunity to them and thereafter pass an order. If the petitioners are eligible as per the applicable Government Orders, the increment may be granted. If they are not eligible, the respondents shall state the reasons for non-eligibility. 5.With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
