O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for completion of investigation in Crime No.8 of 2022 registered against the accused for the offence punishable under Section 420 IPC, pending on the file of the respondent Police, basing on a complaint given by the petitioner.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that on the complaint given by the petitioner/defacto complainant, the Police have registered a case in Crime No.8 of 2022 on 24.05.2022 for the offence punishable under Section 420 IPC. The investigation is still pending and thereby, he sought for suitable directions.

3. It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents that the offence involves certain forged documents which were sent to Forensic Science Laboratory Department and the Police requests short time to complete the investigation.

Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
