Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the fifth, sixth and seventh respondents herein and restraining the second respondent from disconnecting the electricity service connection in S.C.No.367 and 368 of the petitioner's residential house as per law and thereby direct the second respondent to take an appropriate action on the petitioner's representation dated 15.08.2018 by ensuring uninterrupted power supply to the petitioner's house situated at Palani Andavar Nagar, Palani.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to take action against the respondents 5 to 7 for disconnecting the electricity service connection.

2. Alleging that the respondents 5 to 7, who are the employees of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, disconnected the electricity service connection of the petitioner, he made a complaint before the respondents 1 to 4. Since no action has been taken, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the fourth respondent police has conducted the enquiry and during enquiry, the petitioner appeared and stated that he is not interested in proceeding with the complaint.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner's complaint has been enquired into and closed only on the petitioner's request, no further order is required in this writ petition. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
