comprising of respondent Nos.1 to 3 to declare the petitioner as the successful bidder in pursuance of the Lorry Freight Tender Notification published in Dinamalar Daily dated 01.08.2016 for the movement of essential commodities to the 171 fair price shops situated in Kalkulam Taluk for the period from 01.09.2016 to 30.08.2018 and consequently direct the third respondent to issue Contract Appointment Order in the petitioner's favor within the period that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to declare the petitioner as the successful bidder, in pursuance of the Lorry Freight Tender Notification published on 01.08.2016, for the movement of essential commodities to 171 fair price shops situated in Kalkulam Taluk for the period from 01.09.2016 to 30.08.2018 and consequently, direct the third respondent to issue Contract Appointment Order in favour of the petitioner.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing on either side submits that the tender period was over and nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.

3. Recording the submission made by both sides, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
