Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents from dispossessing the petitioner and his family from the property comprised in S.No.701/3 measuring about 0.22.0 ares approximately 54 cents situated at Ponnamaravathi West Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District under the guise of location of Uzhavar Santhai or any other purpose in the said property not otherwise than due process of law.

ORDER

A Mandamus may not lie and therefore, the writ petition is dismissed. However, I am informed that the first respondent/The District Collector, Pudukkottai District, had passed an order on 15.12.2021 in Na.Ka.No.E4/25938/2021 and it is the grievance of the learned counsel for the petitioner that a copy had not been served to the petitioner herein.

2.I direct that the copy of the said order be served on the petitioner, Mr.A.Dhanendran S/o. Atchuthan, Annasalai, Pon https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.22578 of 2021 Pudhupatti, Ponnamaravathi Post and Taluk, Pudukkottai District, within three working days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, the said Mr.A.Dhanendran, may if so advised, take up further issues with respect to the said order. The writ petition, therefore, is dismissed giving liberty to the petitioner, if he is so advised to proceed further in manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
