Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2. The petitioner had suffered a punishment of stoppage of increment of three months without cumulative effect. Questioning the same, he has filed an appeal before the respondent. The petitioner wants the same to be disposed of. The appeal was preferred by the petitioner wayback in the year 09.08.2018. No exception can be taken to the petitioner's request.
3. The respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. This writ petition is disposed of.
