PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the learned District and Sessions Judge (Special Court for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Srivilliputhur, to accept the surrender of the Petitioner and to consider his bail application on the same day in connection with Cr.No.218 of 2022 pending on the file of the second Respondent.

The learned Counsel for the Petitioners submitted that this Petition had been filed seeking direction against the learned Special Judge (Special Court for SC/ST (POA) Act, at Srivilliputhur, to consider the bail application on surrendering of the accused.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the Petitioners are arrayed as A1 and A2. A1 has no previous case and A2 has one previous case under IPC offence. 3.Considering the submissions of the learned Counsel for the Petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the Petitioners are directed to surrender within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order or from the date of uploading this order in the website of this Court before the learned Special Judge (Special Court for SC/ST (POA) Act, at https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL.O.P(MD)No.18846 of 2022 Srivilliputhur. On such surrender and on filing of bail application by the Petitioners herein, the learned Special Judge (Special Court for SC/ST (POA) Act, at Srivilliputhur, shall consider the bail application and pass appropriate orders as per law.
