ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to C.C.No.326 of 2016 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aundipatti and quash the same insofar as the petitioner is concerned.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that there was compromise arrived between the accused Nos.1 and 2 and the defacto complainant. Thereafter, the accused Nos.1 and 2 have filed a petition in Crl.O.P https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.22799 of 2018 (MD).No.5577 of 2022 for quashing of C.C.No.326 of 2016. On the basis of compromise arrived between the parties, C.C.No.326 of 2016 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aundipatti, was quashed by this Court on 25.03.2022.

3. It appears from the arguments advanced by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the matter has been settled between the parties and the defacto complainant has also agreed to receive a sum of Rs.2,00,000/-. Further, the defacto complainant appeared before the concerned Court and signed in the compromise memo. Hence, keeping this matter pending would not serve any purpose.

4. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (CS I) // True Copy // / /2022 Sub Assistant Registrar(CS) Ssb To
