PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to consider and dispose the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2025, and consequently direct them to take appropriate steps to rectify and make necessary changes in the Village Field Measurement Book (FMB) map to reflect the actual ground condition of the lands in respect of lands comprised in Survey Nos. 693/A1A, A1B, A1C, A2A, A2B, A2C, A3A, A3B, A3C, A4A, A4B, A4C, A6A, A6B, A6C, A7A, A7B, A7C, A8A, A8B, A8C, A8D at Manmangalam Village, Manmangalam Taluk, Karur District, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.07.2025 seeking rectification of field measurement book pertains to properties situate in S.Nos.693/A1A, A1B, A1C, A2A, A2B, A2C, A3A, A3B, A3C, A4A, A4B, A4C, A6A, A6B, A6C, A7A, A7B, A7C, A8A, A8B, A8C and A8D in Manmangalam Village, Manmangalam Taluk, Karur District. 2/6
2.Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, the property situate in the above mentioned survey number with an extent of 6.65 acres belongs to his family. There is a water channel running through the properties of the petitioner's family and its location has not been properly depicted in the FMB for the above mentioned survey numbers. Therefore, the petitioner submitted the representation dated 02.07.2025 seeking correction in the FMB. The said representation has not been considered. Hence he has come before this Court.
4.The learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with the law. 5.In the view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the 3/6
representation of the petitioner dated 02.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
