Ms.Priyanka Jothi, learned counsel representing the counsel on record for writ petitioner, Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.S.Manohar, learned private counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the second respondent (Executive Officer of a public temple, who has been appointed as Fit person of the Kattalai concerned) are before me.

In the captioned main writ petition, an order of the first respondent dated 22.09.2016 appointing a Fit person for 'Sri Ammaluammal @ Guruvammal Kattalai at Alwarpuram, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District' (hereinafter 'said Kattalai' for the sake of convenience and clarity) has been assailed. To be noted, Executive Officer of another public temple viz., Arulmigu Madhangopalaswamy Temple has been appointed as Fit person of said Kattalai vide the impugned order.

3.This Court is informed today that elections were since held qua office bearers of said Kattalai and the Fit person has therefore put them back in charge of the affairs of said Kattalai. Learned counsel for second respondent has placed before me a letter a scanned reproduction of which is as follows: 4.Learned counsel for writ petitioner also confirms that they are in administration of the said Kattalai now. 2/3

5.In the light of the aforementioned obtaining position as of today, curtains are drawn on the captioned main writ petition and the captioned writ miscellaneous petitions therein.

6. Recording the obtaining stated position i.e., position obtaining as of today, captioned main writ petition and captioned writ miscellaneous petitions are disposed of as closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Though obvious it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any view or opinion on the merits of the matter in this order.
