ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(C) r/w 20(b)(ii)(c) of NDPS Act, in C.C.No.179/2024 pending before the learned Principal EC and NDPS Judge, Madurai, in Crime No.652 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused have been found in illegal possession of 14 bags of contraband. Hence the complainant. 3.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material records of the case.

4.This Court has already considered the earlier petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD)No.8650 of 2024, seeking the very same relief, which was thereafter withdrawn.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the quantity involved and the allegation as against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/3
