Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to forbear the respondents herein in any way laying the approach road from Madurai-Viraganoor Ring Road Bridge through petitioner's land comprised in Old R.S.No.219/3A, R.S.No.219/5 and R.S.No.219/6 having New R.S.No.71/3C of an extent of 700 sq.meter and New R.S.No.71/5A1 of an extent of 532 sq.meter situated at Vandiyur 2nd Bit Village Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District without obtaining proper Feasibility Report and other necessary permissions from the Government and consequently direct the respondents to consider alternative route for laying the said approach road by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.08.2022. ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to forbear the respondents herein from in any way laying the approach road from Madurai-Viraganoor Ring Road Bridge through the petitioner's land comprised in Old R.S.No.219/3A, R.S.No.219/5 and R.S.No.219/6 having New R.S.No.71/3C of an extent of 700 sq.meter and New R.S.No.71/5A1 of an extent of 532 sq.meter situated at Vandiyur 2nd Bit Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District, without obtaining a proper feasibility report and other necessary permissions from the Government, and consequently direct the respondents to consider an alternative route for laying the said approach road.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader, who appeared for the respondents, would submit that there is no proposal to lay a road through the land mentioned in the prayer of this writ petition.
3. Recording the said submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
