The petitioner prays for disbursement of compensation for the acquisition of his land.

2. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 has placed before me proceedings dated 11.05.2018 of the Competent Authority and Special District Revenue Officer (L.A.N.H) Tirunelveli, Nagercoil. The said proceedings record that compensation in a sum of Rs.15,33,062/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs Thirty Three Thousand Sixty Two Only) was recommended for payment to the petitioner. Learned

counsel appearing for the petitioner also agrees that such compensation has been recommended. As such, subject to payment of such compensation, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.

3. By taking note of the subsequent developments, W.P(MD).No.19169 of 2016 is disposed of without any order as to costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P(MD).No.933 of 2017 is closed. 27.03.2023 NCC :No Internet :Yes Index :No ssb
