ORDER

The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property situated in Survey No.947/3, with an extent of 1 acre 12 cents, Puthur Village, Vadamadurai, Palani, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.M.Vignesh Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional

Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, the subject property was purchased by his mother, Palaniyammal, under a sale deed dated 02.11.1962. Though the petitioner has been in possession and enjoyment of the subject property, the revenue records are not in the name of the petitioner or his mother. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 07.08.2025, seeking issuance of patta in his name. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the subject property is the Government property and notice under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act was already issued to the petitioner. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the

merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.08.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
