ORDER
This Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.
2. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition to direct the second respondent to return the gold jewels that were pledged by the petitioner's deceased mother who died on 10.11.2023.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that only the petitioner and the petitioner's younger sister Priyadharshini are the surviving legal heirs, apart from their grandmother, namely, Muniyammal, who aged about 72 years.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the sister Priyatharshini is only aged about 14 years and the petitioner is taking care of his sister Priyatharshini.

5. It is submitted that the petitioner is willing to execute any bond that may be required. That apart, it is submitted that both the petitioner and his sister are working as daily wage workers and therefore, it may not be possible for the petitioner and the petitioner's sister to appeal to the Court. However, he submits that the petitioner will discharge the dues with the Bank.
6. Though the petitioner is unable to take steps to appoint a guardian for the minor sister, the petitioner is given a liberty to discharge the loan. The bank shall open a locker facility in the bank and charge minimum amount for the locker so that it can be distributed between the petitioner and the petitioner's sister when the petitioner's sister attains majority.
