ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2016 and to pass an order to give alternative maintenance work to the petitioner in the Periyar Vaigai Basin Division, Madurai.

2. Considering the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2016 is still pending, the petitioner shall make a fresh representation to the first respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such representation, the first respondent shall dispose of the same within a period of four weeks thereafter. 2/4

3. With the aforesaid directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
