ORDER

This Petition had been filed by the defacto Complainant seeking direction against the Respondent/Investigation Officer to complete the investigation in Crime No.23 of 2019 within the specified time and file the final report before the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate concerned. 1/4

2.There is no representation on behalf of the Petitioner, when the matter was taken up for hearing today.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the Respondent/Investigation Officer submitted that during investigation, it is found that there is no basis to proceed further in this case. Therefore, the investigation was dropped by the Investigation Officer with a negative final report mentioning as 'mistake of fact'.

4.The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), is recorded. The Investigation Officer is directed to cause notice on the Petitioner with regard to the action dropped report. On receiving such notice, the Petitioner shall approach the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Padmanaphapuram regarding the objection, if any, for dropping further action in Crime No.32 of 2019 by the Respondents. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
